I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “thy spirit”.

1Ki 21:5 But Jezebel his wife came to him, and said unto him,
Why is thy spirit so sad,
that thou eatest no bread?

2Ki 2:9 And it came to pass, when they were gone over,
that Elijah said unto Elisha,
Ask what I shall do for thee,
before I be taken away from thee.
And Elisha said, I pray thee,
let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me.

Neh 9:30 Yet many years didst thou forbear them,
and testifiedst against them
by thy spirit in thy prophets:
yet would they not give ear:
therefore gavest thou them
into the hand of the people of the lands.

Job 15:13 That thou turnest thy spirit against God,
and lettest such words go out of thy mouth?

Psa 104:30 Thou sendest forth thy spirit,
