I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, I am given the following verses in the context of “Father-in-law”. Gen 38:13And it was told Tamar, saying,
Behold thy father in law goeth up to Timnath to shear his sheep.

Gen 38:25When she was brought forth,
she sent to her father in law, saying,
By the man, whose these are, am I with child:
and she said, Discern, I pray thee,
whose are these, the signet,
and bracelets,
and staff.

Exo 3:1Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law,
the priest of Midian:
and he led the flock to the backside of the desert,
and came to the mountain of God,
even to Horeb.

Exo 4:18And Moses went and returned to Jethro his father in law,
and said unto him, Let me go, I pray thee,
and return unto my brethren which are in Egypt,
and see whether they be yet alive.
And Jethro said to Moses,
Go in peace.

Exo 18:1When Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses’ father in law,
heard of all that God had done for Moses,
and for Israel his people,
and that the LORD had brought Israel out of Egypt;

Exo 18:2Then Jethro, Moses’ father in law,
took Zipporah, Moses’ wife,
after he had sent her back,

Exo 18:5And Jethro, Moses’ father in law,
came with his sons and his wife unto Moses into the wilderness,
where he encamped at the mount of God:

Exo 18:6And he said unto Moses,
I thy father in law Jethro am come unto thee,
and thy wife,
and her two sons with her.

Exo 18:7And Moses went out to meet his father in law,
and did obeisance,
and kissed him;
and they asked each other of their welfare;
and they came into the tent.

Exo 18:8And Moses told his father in law all that the LORD had done
unto Pharaoh and to the Egyptians for Israel’s sake,
and all the travail that had come upon them by the way,
and how the LORD delivered them.

Exo 18:12And Jethro, Moses’ father in law,
took a burnt offering and sacrifices for God:
and Aaron came, and all the elders of Israel,
to eat bread with Moses’ father in law before God.

Exo 18:14And when Moses’ father in law saw all that he did to the people,
he said, What is this thing that thou doest to the people?
why sittest thou thyself alone,
and all the people stand by thee from morning unto even?

Exo 18:15And Moses said unto his father in law,
Because the people come unto me to enquire of God:

Exo 18:16When they have a matter,
they come unto me;
and I judge between one and another,
and I do make them know the statutes of God,
and his laws.

Exo 18:17And Moses’ father in law said unto him,
The thing that thou doest is not good.

Exo 18:24So Moses hearkened to the voice of his father in law,
and did all that he had said.

Exo 18:27And Moses let his father in law depart;
and he went his way into his own land.

Num 10:29And Moses said unto Hobab,
the son of Raguel the Midianite, Moses’ father in law,
We are journeying unto the place of which the LORD said,
I will give it you: come thou with us,
and we will do thee good:
for the LORD hath spoken good concerning Israel.

the day groweth to an end, lodge here,
that thine heart may be merry;
and to morrow get you early on your way,
that thou mayest go home.

1Sa 4:19And his daughter in law, Phinehas’ wife,
was with child, near to be delivered:
and when she heard the tidings that the ark of God was taken,
and that her father in law and her husband were dead,
she bowed herself and travailed;
for her pains came upon her.

1Sa 4:21And she named the child Ichabod, saying,
The glory is departed from Israel:
because the ark of God was taken,
and because of her father in law and her husband.

Joh 18:13And led him away to Annas first;
for he was father in law to Caiaphas,
which was the high priest that same year.
