I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “aside”.

in the room of his father Herod,
he was afraid to go thither:
notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream,
he turned aside into the parts of Galilee:

ye hold the tradition of men,
as the washing of pots and cups:
and many other such like things ye do.

and put his fingers into his ears,
and he spit,
and touched his tongue;

and went aside privately into a desert place
belonging to the city called Bethsaida.

and laid aside his garments;
and took a towel,
and girded himself.

they conferred among themselves,

with so great a cloud of witnesses,
let us lay aside every weight,
and the sin which doth so easily beset us,
and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

1Pe 2:1 Wherefore laying aside all malice,
and all guile,
and hypocrisies,
and envies,
and all evil speakings,

1Pe 2:2 As newborn babes,
desire the sincere milk of the word,
that ye may grow thereby:
1Pe 2:3 If so be ye have tasted that
the Lord is gracious.
