I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “hands”.
Mat 4:6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God,
cast thyself down: for it is written,
He shall give his angels charge concerning thee:
and in their hands they shall bear thee up,
lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Mat 15:2 Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders?
for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.
Mat 15:19 For out of the heart
proceed evil thoughts,
murders,
adulteries,
fornications,
thefts,
false witness,
blasphemies:
Mat 15:20 These are the things which defile a man:
but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.
Mat 17:22 And while they abode in Galilee,
Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be
betrayed into the hands of men:
Mat 18:8 Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee,
cut them off,
and cast them from thee:
it is better for thee
to enter into life halt or maimed,
rather than having two hands or two feet
to be cast into everlasting fire.
Mat 18:28 But the same servant went out,
and found one of his fellowservants,
which owed him an hundred pence:
and he laid hands on him,
and took him by the throat, saying,
Pay me that thou owest.
Mat 19:13 Then were there brought unto him little children,
that he should put his hands on them,
and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.
Mat 19:15 And he laid his hands on them,
and departed thence.
Mat 21:46 But when they sought to lay hands on him,
they feared the multitude,
because they took him for a prophet.
Mat 26:45 Then cometh he to his disciples,
and saith unto them, Sleep on now,
and take your rest:
behold, the hour is at hand,
and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
Mat 26:50 And Jesus said unto him, Friend,
wherefore art thou come? Then came they,
and laid hands on Jesus,
and took him.
Mat 26:67 Then did they spit in his face,
and buffeted him;
and others smote him
with the palms of their hands,
Mat 27:24 When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing,
but that rather a tumult was made,
he took water,
and washed his hands before the multitude, saying,
I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.
Mar 5:23 And besought him greatly, saying,
My little daughter lieth at the point of death:
I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her,
that she may be healed;
and she shall live.
Mar 6:2 And when the sabbath day was come,
he began to teach in the synagogue:
and many hearing him were astonished, saying,
From whence hath this man these things?
and what wisdom is this which is given unto him,
that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?
Mar 6:5 And he could there do no mighty work,
save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk,
and healed them.
Mar 7:2 And when they saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled,
that is to say, with unwashen, hands, they found fault.
Mar 7:3 For the Pharisees,
and all the Jews, except they wash their hands oft,

Mar 7:5 Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him,
Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders,
but eat bread with unwashen hands?

and led him out of the town;
and when he had spit on his eyes,

and made him look up:
and he was restored,
and saw every man clearly.

and they shall kill him;
and after that he is killed,

cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed,

put his hands upon them,
and blessed them.
