I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner, and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of this day

Isa 37:3 And they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble,
and of rebuke,
and of blasphemy: for the children are come to the birth,
and there is not strength to bring forth.
Isa 38:19 The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth.
Isa 39:6 Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house,
and that which thy fathers have laid up in store until this day, shall be carried to Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the LORD.
Isa 56:12 Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine,
and we will fill ourselves with strong drink;
and to morrow shall be as this day,
and much more abundant.
Isa 58:4 Behold, ye fast for strife
and debate,
and to smite with the fist of wickedness: ye shall not fast as ye do this day, to make your voice to be heard on high.
Jer 1:10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations
and over the kingdoms, to root out,
and to pull down,
and to destroy,
and to throw down, to build,
and to plant.
Jer 1:18 For, behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city,
and an iron pillar,
and brasen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof,
and against the people of the land.
Jer 3:25 We lie down in our shame,
and our confusion covereth us: for we have sinned against the LORD our God, we
and our fathers, from our youth even unto this day,
and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD our God.
Jer 7:25 Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early
and sending them:
Jer 11:5 That I may perform the oath which I have sworn unto your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk
and honey, as it is this day. Then answered I,
and said, So be it, O LORD.
Jer 11:7 For I earnestly protested unto your fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, even unto this day, rising early
and protesting, saying, Obey my voice.
Jer 25:3 From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, even unto this day, that is the three
and twentieth year, the word of the LORD hath come unto me,
and I have spoken unto you, rising early
and speaking; but ye have not hearkened.
Jer 25:18 To wit, Jerusalem,
and the cities of Judah,
and the kings thereof,
and the princes thereof, to make them a desolation, an astonishment, an hissing,
and a curse; as it is this day;

and wonders in the land of Egypt, even unto this day,
and in Israel,
and among other men;
and hast made thee a name, as at this day;

and of my fury from the day that they built it even unto this day; that I should remove it from before my face,
Jer 35:14 The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab, that he commanded his sons not to drink wine, are performed; for unto this day they drink none, but obey their father’s commandment: notwithstanding I have spoken unto you, rising early
and speaking; but ye hearkened not unto me.
Jer 36:2 Take thee a roll of a book,
and write therein all the words that I have spoken unto thee against Israel,
and against Judah,
and against all the nations, from the day I spake unto thee, from the days of Josiah, even unto this day.
Jer 40:4 And now, behold, I loose thee this day from the chains which were upon thine hand. If it seem good unto thee to come with me into Babylon, come;
and I will look well unto thee: but if it seem ill unto thee to come with me into Babylon, forbear: behold, all the land is before thee: whither it seemeth good
and convenient for thee to go, thither go.
Jer 42:19 The LORD hath said concerning you, O ye remnant of Judah; Go ye not into Egypt: know certainly that I have admonished you this day.

and mine anger was poured forth,
and was kindled in the cities of Judah
and in the streets of Jerusalem;

and before your fathers.

and because of the abominations which ye have committed; therefore is your land a desolation,
and an astonishment,
and a curse, without an inhabitant, as at this day.
Jer 44:23 Because ye have burned incense,
and because ye have sinned against the LORD,
and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD, nor walked in his law, nor in his statutes, nor in his testimonies; therefore this evil is happened unto you, as at this day.

Eze 20:31 For when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your sons to pass through the fire, ye pollute yourselves with all your idols, even unto this day:
and shall I be enquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be enquired of by you.
Dan 9:7 O Lord, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah,
and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem,
and unto all Israel, that are near,
and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee.
Dan 9:15 And now, O Lord our God, that hast brought thy people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand,
and hast gotten thee renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly.

and upward, from before a stone was laid upon a stone in the temple of the LORD:

and the fig tree,
and the pomegranate,
and the olive tree, hath not brought forth: from this day will I bless you.
