I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “letters”.

and sealed them with his seal,
and sent the letters unto the elders
and to the nobles that were in his city,
dwelling with Naboth.
1Ki 21:9 And she wrote in the letters,
saying, Proclaim a fast,
and set Naboth on high among the people:
1Ki 21:11 And the men of his city,
even the elders and the nobles
who were the inhabitants in his city,
did as Jezebel had sent unto them,
and as it was written in the letters
which she had sent unto them.
2Ki 10:1 And Ahab had seventy sons in Samaria.
And Jehu wrote letters,
and sent to Samaria,
unto the rulers of Jezreel, to the elders,
and to them that brought up Ahab’s children, saying,
2Ki 20:12 At that time Berodachbaladan,
the son of Baladan, king of Babylon,
sent letters and a present unto Hezekiah:
for he had heard that Hezekiah had been sick.
2Ch 30:1 And Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah,
and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh,
that they should come to the house of the LORD at Jerusalem,
to keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel.
2Ch 30:6 So the posts went with the letters
from the king and his princes throughout all Israel and Judah,
and according to the commandment of the king,
saying, Ye children of Israel,
turn again unto the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac,
and Israel,
and he will return to the remnant of you,
that are escaped out of the hand of the kings of Assyria.
2Ch 32:17 He wrote also letters to rail on the LORD God of Israel,
and to speak against him, saying,
As the gods of the nations of other lands
have not delivered their people out of mine hand,
so shall not the God of Hezekiah deliver his people out of mine hand.
Neh 2:7 Moreover I said unto the king,
If it please the king,
let letters be given me to the governors beyond the river,
that they may convey me over till I come into Judah;
Neh 2:9 Then I came to the governors beyond the river,
and gave them the king’s letters.
Now the king had sent captains of the army and horsemen with me.
Neh 6:17 Moreover in those days
the nobles of Judah sent many letters unto Tobiah,
and the letters of Tobiah came unto them.
Neh 6:19 Also they reported his good deeds before me,
and uttered my words to him.
And Tobiah sent letters to put me in fear.
Est 1:22 For he sent letters into all the king’s provinces,
into every province according to the writing thereof,
and to every people after their language,
that every man should bear rule in his own house,
and that it should be published
according to the language of every people.
Est 3:13 And the letters were sent by posts
into all the king’s provinces,
to destroy,
to kill,
and to cause to perish,
all Jews,
both young and old,
little children and women,
in one day,
even upon the thirteenth day of the twelfth month,
which is the month Adar,
and to take the spoil of them for a prey.
Est 8:5 And said, If it please the king,
and if I have found favour in his sight,
and the thing seem right before the king,
and I be pleasing in his eyes,
let it be written to reverse the letters
devised by Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite,
which he wrote to destroy the Jews
which are in all the king’s provinces:
Est 8:10 And he wrote in the king Ahasuerus’ name,
and sealed it with the king’s ring,
and sent letters by posts on horseback,
and riders on mules, camels,
and young dromedaries:

and sent letters unto all the Jews
that were in all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus,
both nigh and far,

he commanded by letters that his wicked device,
which he devised against the Jews,
should return upon his own head,
and that he and his sons should be hanged on the gallows.

to the hundred twenty and seven
provinces of the kingdom of Ahasuerus,
with words of peace and truth,

the God of Israel, saying,

and to all the priests, saying,
Luk 23:38 And a superscription also
was written over him in letters of Greek,
and Latin,
and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

having never learned?

to Damascus to the synagogues,
that if he found any of this way,
whether they were men or women,
he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.

The apostles and elders and brethren
send greeting unto the brethren
which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia:
Act 22:5 As also the high priest doth bear me witness,
and all the estate of the elders:
from whom also I received letters unto the brethren,
and went to Damascus,
to bring them which were there bound unto Jerusalem,
for to be punished.

say they, are weighty and powerful;
but his bodily presence is weak,
and his speech contemptible.
2Co 10:11 Let such an one think this,
that, such as we are in word by letters
when we are absent,
such will we be also in deed when we are present.
