Whose mouths must be stopped,
who subvert whole houses,
teaching things which they ought not,
for filthy lucre’s sake. – Titus 1:11

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “houses” from the New Testament (KJV).
Matthew 11:8 But what went ye out for to see?
A man clothed in soft raiment?
behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings’ houses.
Matthew 19:29 And every one that hath forsaken houses,
or brethren,
or sisters,
or father,
or mother,
or wife,
or children,
or lands, for my name’s sake,
shall receive an hundredfold,
and shall inherit everlasting life.
Matthew 23:14 Woe unto you,
scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!
for ye devour widows’ houses,
and for a pretence make long prayer:
therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.
Mark 8:3 And if I send them away
fasting to their own houses,
they will faint by the way:
for divers of them came from far.
Mark 10:30 But he shall receive an hundredfold
now in this time, houses,
and brethren,
and sisters,
and mothers,
and children,
and lands, with persecutions;
and in the world to come eternal life.
Mark 12:40 Which devour widows’ houses,
and for a pretence make long prayers:
these shall receive greater damnation.
Luke 16:4 I am resolved what to do, that,
when I am put out of the stewardship,
they may receive me into their houses.
Luke 20:47 Which devour widows’ houses,
and for a shew make long prayers:
the same shall receive greater damnation.
Acts 4:34 Neither was there any among them that lacked:
for as many as were possessors of lands
or houses sold them,
and brought the prices of the things that were sold,
1 Corinthians 11:22 What? have ye not houses
to eat and to drink in?
or despise ye the church of God,
and shame them that have not?
What shall I say to you?
shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.
1 Timothy 3:12 Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife,
ruling their children and their own houses well.
2 Timothy 3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses,
and lead captive silly women laden with sins,
led away with divers lusts,
Titus 1:11 Whose mouths must be stopped,
who subvert whole houses,
teaching things which they ought not,
for filthy lucre’s sake.
