I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “advantage” .
Job 35:3 For thou saidst, What advantage will it be unto thee?
and, What profit shall I have,
if I be cleansed from my sin?
Luke 9:25 For what is a man advantaged,
if he gain the whole world,
and lose himself,
or be cast away?
Romans 3:1 What advantage then hath the Jew?
or what profit is there of circumcision?
1 Corinthians 15:32 If after the manner of men
I have fought with beasts at Ephesus,
what advantageth it me,
if the dead rise not?
let us eat and drink;
for to morrow we die.
2 Corinthians 2:11 Lest Satan should
get an advantage of us:
for we are not ignorant of his devices.
Jude 1:16 These are murmurers,
complainers,
walking after their own lusts;
and their mouth speaketh
great swelling words,
having men’s persons
in admiration because of advantage.
