I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “uprightness” surprisingly found ONLY in the Old Testament .

Deu 9:5 Not for thy righteousness,
or for the uprightness of thine heart,
dost thou go to possess their land:
but for the wickedness of these nations
the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee,
and that he may perform the word
which the LORD sware unto thy fathers,
Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

1Ki 3:6 And Solomon said, Thou hast shewed unto thy servant David
my father great mercy,
according as he walked before thee in truth,
and in righteousness,
and in uprightness of heart with thee;
and thou hast kept for him this great kindness,

Genesis 6:9 These are the generations of Noah:
Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations,
and Noah walked with God.

Genesis 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine,
the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him,
I am the Almighty God;
walk before me, and be thou perfect.

Leviticus 22:21 And whosoever offereth
a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD
to accomplish his vow,
or a freewill offering in beeves or sheep,
it shall be perfect to be accepted;
there shall be no blemish therein.

Deuteronomy 18:13 Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God.

Deuteronomy 25:15 But thou shalt have a perfect and just weight,
