‘vine…yard….’ ….. mentioned in the New Testament (KJV)

VineNTCan the fig tree, my brethren,
bear olive berries?

either a vine, figs?
so can no fountain both yield
salt water and fresh.
James 3:12

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “vine… yard…” from the New Testament.

Matthew 20:1 For the kingdom of heaven is like
unto a man that is an householder,
which went out early in the morning
to hire labourers into his vineyard.

Matthew 20:2 And when he had agreed
with the labourers for a penny a day,
he sent them into his vineyard.

Matthew 20:4 And said unto them;
Go ye also into the vineyard,
and whatsoever is right I will give you.
And they went their way.

Matthew 20:7 They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us.
He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard;
and whatsoever is right,
that shall ye receive.

Matthew 20:8 So when even was come,
the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward,
Call the labourers,
and give them their hire,
beginning from the last unto the first.

Matthew 21:28 But what think ye?
A certain man had two sons;
and he came to the first,
and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard.

Matthew 21:33 Hear another parable:
There was a certain householder,
which planted a vineyard,
and hedged it round about,
and digged a winepress in it,
and built a tower,
and let it out to husbandmen,
and went into a far country:

Matthew 21:39 And they caught him,
and cast him out of the vineyard,
and slew him.

Matthew 21:40 When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh,
what will he do unto those husbandmen?

Matthew 21:41 They say unto him,
He will miserably destroy those wicked men,
and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen,
which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.

Matthew 26:29 But I say unto you,
I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine,
until that day when I drink it new
with you in my Father’s kingdom.

Matthew 27:34 They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall:
and when he had tasted thereof,
he would not drink.

Matthew 27:48 And straightway one of them ran,
and took a spunge,
and filled it with vinegar,
and put it on a reed,
and gave him to drink.

Mark 12:1 And he began to speak unto them by parables.
A certain man planted a vineyard,
and set an hedge about it,
and digged a place for the winefat,
and built a tower,
and let it out to husbandmen,
and went into a far country.

Mark 12:2 And at the season he sent to the husbandmen a servant,
that he might receive
from the husbandmen of the fruit of the vineyard.

Mark 12:8 And they took him,
and killed him,
and cast him out of the vineyard.

Mark 12:9 What shall therefore the lord of the vineyard do?
he will come and destroy the husbandmen,
and will give the vineyard unto others.

Mark 14:25 Verily I say unto you,
I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine,
until that day that I drink it
new in the kingdom of God.

Mark 15:36 And one ran and filled a spunge full of vinegar,
and put it on a reed,
and gave him to drink, saying, Let alone;
let us see whether Elias will come to take him down.

Luke 13:6 He spake also this parable;
A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard;
and he came and sought fruit thereon,
and found none.

Luke 13:7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard,
Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree,
and find none: cut it down;
why cumbereth it the ground?

Luke 20:9 Then began he to speak to the people this parable;
A certain man planted a vineyard,
and let it forth to husbandmen,
and went into a far country for a long time.

Luke 20:10 And at the season he sent a servant to the husbandmen,
that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard:
but the husbandmen beat him,
and sent him away empty.

Luke 20:13 Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do?
I will send my beloved son:
it may be they will reverence him when they see him.

Luke 20:15 So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed him.
What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them?

Luke 20:16 He shall come and destroy these husbandmen,
and shall give the vineyard to others.
And when they heard it, they said, God forbid.

Luke 22:18 For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine,
until the kingdom of God shall come.

Luke 23:36 And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him,
and offering him vinegar,

John 15:1 I am the true vine,
and my Father is the husbandman.

John 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you.
As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself,
except it abide in the vine;
no more can ye,
except ye abide in me.

John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches:
He that abideth in me,
and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit:
for without me ye can do nothing.

John 19:29 Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar:
and they filled a spunge with vinegar,
and put it upon hyssop,
and put it to his mouth.

John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar,
he said, It is finished:
and he bowed his head,
and gave up the ghost.

1 Corinthians 9:7 Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges?
who planteth a vineyard,
and eateth not of the fruit thereof?
or who feedeth a flock,
and eateth not of the milk of the flock?

James 3:12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries?
either a vine, figs?
so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.

Revelation 14:18 And another angel came out from the altar,
which had power over fire;
and cried with a loud cry to him
that had the sharp sickle, saying,
Thrust in thy sharp sickle,
and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth;
for her grapes are fully ripe.

Revelation 14:19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth,
and gathered the vine of the earth,
and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
