“And when thou prayest,
thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are:
for they love to pray standing in the synagogues
and in the corners of the streets,
that they may be seen of men.
Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.” – Matt: 6:5
I am no preacher, but, am a sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, while reading Bible, the following verses were given in the context of “Wicked / Wickedness” from the book of Job, in The Old Testament, from The Holy Bible-KJV.
Job-3:17 There the wicked cease from troubling;
and there the weary be at rest.
Job-4:8 Even as I have seen,
they that plow iniquity,
and sow wickedness,
reap the same.

He destroyeth the perfect and the wicked.
Job-9:24 The earth is given into the hand of the wicked:
he covereth the faces of the judges thereof;
if not, where, and who is he?
Job-9:29 If I be wicked,
why then labour I in vain?
Job-10:3 Is it good unto thee that thou shouldest oppress,
that thou shouldest despise the work of thine hands,
and shine upon the counsel of the wicked?
Job-10:7 Thou knowest that I am not wicked;
and there is none that can deliver out of thine hand.
Job-10:15 If I be wicked, woe unto me;
and if I be righteous,
yet will I not lift up my head.
I am full of confusion;
therefore see thou mine affliction;
Job-11:11 For he knoweth vain men:
he seeth wickedness also;
will he not then consider it?
Job-11:14 If iniquity be in thine hand,
put it far away,
and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles.
Job-11:20 But the eyes of the wicked shall fail,
and they shall not escape,
and their hope shall be as the giving up of the ghost.

and talk deceitfully for him?
Job-15:20 The wicked man travaileth with pain all his days,
and the number of years is hidden to the oppressor.

and turned me over into the hands of the wicked.

and the spark of his fire shall not shine.
Job-18:21 Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked,
and this is the place of him that knoweth not God.

and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?

every hand of the wicked shall come upon him.

a tempest stealeth him away in the night.

and as a storm hurleth him out of his place.

and shall hiss him out of his place.

and he heareth the cry of the afflicted.

judgment and justice take hold on thee.
